Dare I even whisper it?

How revolutionary. How renegade. Rejecting the status quo. Rejecting the insanity of the mob. Rejecting the rule of the lowest common denominator. Rejecting the tyranny of the political parties. Rejecting the chains of the Establishment and their armies of corporatist cronies. Here in the Wasteland, their rules do not apply. Here, we make our own rules and live by the codes of Natural Law.

It’s a beginning. A start. A first step on the path less traveled. Doesn’t that just sound exciting? If we’re going to have a third party alternative, who better than a man like David French to stand the line, a man that knows the price of Liberty first hand. Who has stood on the wall. We know he’s on our side of the line. If we can draft Ted Cruz to stand at his side as his vice president, we’re talking about a real political force to be reckoned with, standing for our Constitutional values in the face of the reality of international terrorism and an overreaching government.

Frankly, we could do much worse, and it’s exactly the kind of statement the conservative movement needs and, more importantly, when we need it. Win or lose, it’s time to shake the dust from our feet and do what conservatives do best. Take care of our own business. We don’t wait for other people to come along to save us. We aren’t victims. We’re doers. We’re not waiters. We’re makers. We’re not voters. We’re builders.

It’s time for a full time Conservative Party. No more corporatism, no more cronies, no more back room deals, no more nationalist propaganda, and no more compromises. Just 24/7 Constitution, all day, every day. Week in. Week out. We need to do this, because, at the end of the day, we can admire our work and say, “Yeah, we built that. Don’t like it? Come and take it.“
