While at times these last few years certain things have seemed bleak, there remains plenty to be thankful for. As you read this, consider what you are most thankful for and hold it close to your heart today. I hope that all of my countrymen can find a moment of respite today in warmth and the company of friends and family, and that all will experience peace and harmony this holiday season.
Personally, I am thankful for the health and safety of my friends and family, for my own health and safety, and those who are read and follow this blog. I am thankful that I have food to eat, a home to live in, and the lights are on. I am thankful that men like John Locke, Thomas Jefferson, and Ronald Reagan have lived and tended the flame of Liberty in the world when it was needed most. I am thankful for the very few conservative voices that have held fast to principle, not caving to political and financial expedience, but pursuing the truth.
Finally, I am thankful for my Lord my God for this beautiful universe in which we live and the very Natural Rights that we are endowed with, and to whom belongs all the glory. I am certain in my knowledge that His truth shall win out. I will strive to remember what matters most this season are hearts and hearths, yet keep in mind those most in need. The poor. The disadvantaged. The marginalized. Those who go without, year after year. Those most in need.
Pray, friends, that soon all may live in Liberty.
Liberty is For The Win!
